Hello, I have resourses to start an online businees in the travel and holidays business. I found an affiliate network to monteze it (Hotelscombined) and i have a lot of content ready to be produced for different destinations and activities in the country. Also i am planing to translate the website in 3 languages and then maybe more.
What should i watch out? Are there any suggestions that you can give me on how to get traffic to the site?

Social media can be extremely useful when trying to get traffic for your site.

You could always post pictures of specific travel destinations and the fact that it isn't too hard to deem success from this type of business.

Dont ever underestimate social media.

Search term optimizationnismall you need to naturally build up engagement from across the Internet.

People make more from 1 authentic brand profile than any dozen crossed micro niche sites combined.

Pinterest and Instagram might be powerful here, assuming you've got lots of pictures of the destinations and the surrounding scenery. Women love pinning images of places that they want to visit or stay especially in the Honeymoon/wedding planning phase of their lives. There should be a decent conversion rate if you go that route.

Facebook could also be great here. I see a lot of "Win a weekend at [insert hotel here]" type posts shared by my friends and family on facebook and the creator of the post is usually either the hotel in question or a travel blog of some sort. This might be more of a long-term goal once you've built up a following and can negotiate deals with hotels and such.
