Hi
I going to buy one of these tonight and I was wondering if you all had a preference. I have read many threads and it seems that the
opinions are about even.

Just thought I'd ask before I purchased. I am leaning towards MS .

Get LTP, MS takes forever and you have to analyze keywords one by one by manually adding the keyword to the project. So you end up with about 100 tabs open and, honestly, it's just extremely clunky. You're better off mass checking competition with Long Tail Pro, having a closer look at ones you think are viable (will show you PA, DA etc) then adding those keywords into Market Samurai for a final check.

Buying only one I'd get LTP. I think Moz's PA and DA are FAR greater indicators of a site's strength than the Majestic indicators... But MS is nice for manual checks.
 
I have FAR on my list to buy but not for keywords, should I get LTP and FAR? Thank you so much for the help!
 
I personally use MarketSamurai on my mac, as LTP doesn't support mac. But I've heard many good reviews about LTP pro as well. So, first try out the trial and then make a final decision.

Long Tail Pro supports mac..

Longtailpro is superior to market samurai because it's much quicker and easier to use. I would highly recommend. It's addicting searching for keywords with that software!
 
Plus there is a free demo for both software. why don't try both out and then proceed to buy your favorite one? Once you go LPT, you never go back.
 
Trialling LTP right now, seems impressive so far! And is definitely available for Mac :)
 
Yeah, LTP is using Adobe AIR so it's multiplatform. I'm using it too and I'm happy with speed and ease of use. There used to be 1-2 bugs, that would annoy me, but I learned how to avoid them and they're not a big deal now.

MS was great in it's hay day, but that's over now.

I would suggest long tail pro between the two! It really depends on what you are trying to do with the tool though so keep that in mind before you buy it.

Do you have scrapebox yet?
