Spend a couple of hours on forums where your audience is active. Find your main keywords, spot problems and repeated questions -> take notes -> write a post -> publish.
Do it once a day and you'll have real long tail traffic coming.
Now you can add a little search button where people will search for additional info -> that's a goldmine of information. Use it.
It's really simple. You don't need the tools.

You can do that. But from my experience, you'll need to create a few fake ones for social proof.
And you need enough traffic. If you'll only get 1 question a week - it's not worth the time. What you can do though, is publish a post with a few related questions, like : 7 questions we always get about XYZ
Each of them is a mini post and you got a nice post with lots of longtails.
