For any newbies out there wondering should they go with Hostgator, ipage or godaddy, i strongly recommend Hostgator.
Hostgator have by far the best customer support - essential if like me you dont have a great deal of internet knowledge. I found they were always supportive, always fixed my problems and i was always happy with their service. The control panel was easy to navigate and everything is easy to learn/practice on.
Godaddy - too difficult to get hold of any support and a bit more complicated plus too many annoying buy now offers etc.
ipage - havent got a single good thing to say about them. i quite foolishly switched to them because they had a cheaper package and good reviews. Such a big mistake. Even though they have just given me loads of free add ons i seriously wouldnt recommend them to newbies.
Hostgator gets my vote and yes i will be promoting them once i get my sites up and running again.
