Hey guys, I just implemented a change in my site's content structure that has resulted in an absolutely massive increase in AdSense earnings and wanted to share in case anyone hasn't given it a try yet.

Background
I noticed that Buzzfeed is using what I call 'long-form' content. Basically a single long page with lots of images and other content that you scroll though. So I thought, hey if it works for Buzz I may as well give it a go. Since I have an image-heavy site I was using a gallery plug-in, but switched to putting all the images on one page interspersed with ads.

Result
CTR per impression dropped by nearly half because of the extra ads. But CTR per page view is up 400%.

Advice
Take advantage of AdSense's easing of ad unit restrictions!

Well, that's good tips. Your earning is increase by 4 times, that's great. But how about the cost you spent for creating long form content?

Impressive share. Le'me give it a try!

Any particular theme and/or plugin that you suggest for this?

What's your average wordcount per page?

TIA.

Wow that's interesting!
Do you have your own site or do you use a provider?

It doesn't matter. Article cost just once, but adsense income is forever (if no bans, etc).

I prefer $30 content generating $10 per day than $10 content only generating $2.5 per day.

I`ve seen as well this before and looks like working for me as well but can`t say it`s a real deal as this particular site makes me just a few euros a day; instead of adding pretty galleries add basic large images in a row.

For me there's no difference since most of my content is images. They all still have to be uploaded and arranged, I'm just arranging them on one page instead of in a gallery.

I like minimalist themes, for my real estate site I'm using Minimum Minimal with the Content Views plugin to organize posts into a nice classified-like setup. If you're running something like a news site then I would imagine a news theme would be better. Word count is low, probably around 200 words as it's just house/apartment descriptions. Each post also has 10-20 images. Other plugins I'm using include: Advanced Ads, Google Analytics Dashboard for WP, WP Mautic and Yoast.

I have a self-hosted Wordpress site.

How did you even get ur site approved

I joined AdSense years ago when they were giving out accounts like sand in the desert. I believe it's much harder to get approved now. If you're having trouble with AdSense approval you could probably do something similar with content ads or niche CPA offers.
