its random scraping emails from web, and using the token #site# in the message to make it more personal looking. That guy knows what he is doing though if it landed on your inbox

Nope. It has never happened and never will.
Nobody buys e-books to take action. They buy them so they can make 10000$ each 39 seconds on auto-pilot hands free.
