2. Download an app called FLV player , advertised a media player HD and it's malware.

their SEO specialist for sure knows his stuff , but i would of thought cnn's reporters would have a better understanding of a topic before publishing it..

Umm it was malware, not adware. And it was a modified version of Loudmo's FLV player

I really wish the OP had a bit more knowledge. CNN did not write the article, it was written by someone over at Mashable (which isn't own by CNN). So it is Mashable who knows nothing about IM. If CNN just reported the news (wars, kidnappings, etc.) they would be out of a job.

CNN has partnership with various websites online. Even Associated Content articles are known to show up on CNN (Don't believe me, check AC's main site for "Sites we like" and look for "the Frisky" which is owned by Time Warner Company...same people who owns CNN and CNN even showcase those articles on CNN.com http://www.cnn.com/2010/SHOWBIZ/celebrity.news.gossip/06/01/couples.who.broke.up.tf/index.html?iref=allsearch.)

In conclusion, CNN is just one big content mill, the only difference is they are backed by a lot of money and popularity.

Thats Pete Cashmore... He owns Mashable. He probably knows just as well as anyone here whats going on but why explain something like that in accurate terms when you can scare people away and shut down small time nuisances like us?
