Logo Resign: Coders Point

I work with Coders Point on a lot of my projects. The lady behind Coders Point is amazing at code, but not so hot at design. So she requested that I redo her logo for her.

Now, if anyone has followed my posts and my designs, you'll know that I am just slowly getting to an acceptable level of skill in web design. That being said, logo design is not a strong point. All of my designs are done with the logo as just the sites name, half in lato black and half in lato light. Hey, it looks good as a placeholder.

Anyways, I gave it a shot. Here's the before and after of the Coders Point logo.

I like it, I would stay wit the circle though and make it orange Orange sells and is trustworthy color

The hexagon was specifically requested and I chose the green because that's her favorite color! I'll get her feedback in the morning or late tonight and I'll see what she says as well. Orange would look damn sexy now that I think of it!

I'd say orange as well. If this is any kind of business, it's the client who has to like it (orange sells, as sashablack said), not the owner of the biz.

Any links available to studies on orange? I feel like this is hearsay. -_-

Furthermore, I think she will be doing ThemeForest, mostly. So her logo won't be a huge selling point.

She loves it! I've been deemed a "top class designer."
