2 is my preference.
I like the use of the 'V' as a tick - it fits with the idea of the business and also give a positive impression, so works on two levels.
I also like the fact it is a cleaner and more simple design - overcomplicated designs can be too much I think.
The VC at the beginning would make a nice logo in itself too, so that gives you further options

#1,#3,#4 are crap, #2 would look ok if it were 1996, while #5 is not bad at all.
I'd try the icon without the shadow and the grey arrows. So only the red arrows. Everything is flat and simple these days.
