Logo design with AI

I don't have graphic design skills neither budget to pay somebody.
You are underestimating your brain, and a pencil. If you can't design on a computer, go back to the basics, sketch a few ideas on paper, and upload them to chatgpt, ask to make better, and then use a free vector program, to trace the final logo with the vector pen tool. You might just be pleasantly surprised.

Hi,
Do you know what AI is the best to design a logo for a blog?
I don't have graphic design skills neither budget to pay somebody.

I need the logo for the website and the thumbnail to show on the browser tabs.

I thought about using Abacus.ai which gives access to several AI tools for low price. Bit not sure if it'll be a waste.

Would recemond using canva for this as thats far more easy and try their templets as well

Try GPT, Canva or MIdjourney. However it's not AI the one from Fiverr is also great, gets me going super quick with nice designs for a good price.

In case your design abilities or funds are lacking, employing an AI logo generator is still a good idea. Very easy to handle are Canva and Hatchful by Shopify,
they can make nice logos in no time.

Only remember to get the output in high quality as it will be needed for your website and favicon. The logo may not be one of a kind but it is a pretty good choice for a blog.

To be honest, a basic blog logo can be created with Canva or Looka, so you don't really need anything fancy.
They’re cheap, easy, and you can get a clean favicon-sized thumbnail too.

Abacus.ai feels like overkill for this kind of task.

For a blog logo, you could try tools like Canva, Looka, or Hatchful they’re beginner-friendly and pretty cheap. Abacus.ai could work too

Heyy, see if you just need something clean for a blog, you dont really need to spend much. I mean a lot of people do jump straight into paid bundles, but honestly it all comes down to the kind of logo you want. Lately, a tool called https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.x-design.com/ai-logo-generator&sa=D&source=editors&ust=1766784090216821&usg=AOvVaw0lJXXnp_ULLyj8euEn0NuS logo generator has been getting popular in the community as its super simple, because you just need to type in your idea and it gives you a bunch of variations. Maybe just give that a try before paying for anything bigger. For basic blog branding, it would do the job well

If you have sufficient hardware, it's best to use local models: one workflow with Qwen to create the logo and another with the same model to edit it. You have much more control locally.

You should not use generate ai logo and past it in website or blog, you have to modify it

I'm more of a perfectionist, I don't think I'd want logos made in AI, i tried in the past but there are some aspects that aren't ticking for me, its like a itchy part you can't scratch (or in this case, revise).

For a blog, tools like Canva (AI logo maker), Looka, or Adobe Express are more than enough and very beginner-friendly. You don’t need Abacus.ai just for logos—it may be overkill. Focus on a simple, clean logo that scales well as a favicon.

Canva has tools you can use to design logo and is also user friendly

AI-driven logo design is getting surprisingly practical, especially for quick concept generation. I’ve been experimenting with different tools and recently used namecheap.com/logo-maker/ideas/gold-logos/ It helped me explore elegant, premium-style directions when I was stuck on branding ideas. The AI suggestions made it faster to narrow down a visual style without overthinking. Worth trying if you want inspiration rather than a final polished logo.

free gpt image 2 if you have no budget. throw in a couple references

@Rauru Looka is fine to get the ball rolling but yeah like @cybersexuals said, pure AI logos always have that weird look to them. i had the same issue on a couple of affiliate sites last year. what i usually do now is take whatever looka or chatgpt spits out, run it through a free vectorizer online, and clean up the weird nodes. for the browser tab favicon you just need a high contrast mark anyway... if it's too detailed it just looks like a smudge at 16x16. don't lose too much sleep over it now, you can always rebrand once the blog actually gets some traffic.

yeah for the browser tab just use a single bold letter on a colored circle. any free favicon generator can do this in 2 seconds. trying to scale down a complex ai logo to 16x16 just makes it look like a blurry smudge anyway. for the actual website header just write your blog name in a clean font and call it a day. once you actually get some search traffic then worry about branding and hiring a proper designer. spend the time on keyword research and content instead of tweaking ai prompts...

one thing nobody mentioned, whatever you end up with save the favicon as a proper .ico with multiple sizes baked in (16, 32, 48) not just a png renamed. browsers and bookmark bars pull different sizes and a single png favicon can look crusty in some spots. takes 2 min on any favicon generator.

looka was a fine call for getting moving though. dont overthink the logo at this stage honestly... half the blogs i see ranking have a logo thats just text in a decent font. nobody clicking from google cares about your mark, they care if the content answers what they searched. sort the branding later once you actually have traffic worth branding for.
