Logo Design Buisness Outsourcing to 99 Designs

I've used that method before, but it is a little iffy really. Alot of potential clients are going to want to see a steady portfolio that you can present them, and using 99 designs means you will have 0 portfolio to present to them right off the bat.
I'd suggest finding a logo designer, discuss with them that you'll outsource your work to them, and negotiate a price from there. And from there, you can request to use their portfolio to showcase the designs of their work so they know what they are in for.
Logo designs also might request reworks or fixes on things that the client will specify or isn't so sure on...99designs doesn't cover that since its more of a 'contest'.

That sounds like a good idea, but then you cut into your own profit. Depends on how ..for lack of a better word, blackhat, you want to be. You can always fake it til you make it. But either way, getting the clients and outsourcing is a major step to scaling, so yes good idea.

If you need a logo design.. its ok to get it in 99design, you can choose many designs submitted from the designers and no need their portfolio for that. And it can also guaranteed that the logo is not copyrighted.
If you are a logo designer, well 99design is also overcrowded for competing them and they have lots of experience of designing proffessionally.

i've used 99 designs for entire website designs, the money back guarantee is nice, if you disclose to your clients that you work with a pool of designers and your a project manager, you should just do fine, since I'm more or less in the seo game, you do get requests for design work all the time. It is a good platform with accountability, however there are great vendors here on bhw. Logo design is a crazy field, cuzz you can get a logo on fiverr for 5$ or spend a fortune 20k or more, if your big time.

where are you going to find them? did you try 99design's service?

Well I was thinking I could do both 99 designs and just hire someone to share their portfolio on my website. The contest lasts 7 days so costumers would have enough time to rework and fix stuff, do you think I would end up with clients asking for fixes after that? Would a backup freelancer be able to fix them?

last year I had the same idea but in a different way. 2 website one it's stricktly for designer ( not viewable by customer ) and the 2 website it's corporate logo desgin 1 order = 10 concept of logo. I have the script for contest logo i have the corporate website and after the problem it's how to find designer of logo ?? I have stopped after 1 month i dont have good strategy for added designer in my website after i lose motivation for the business

It's probably not the best idea.
1. 99 designs is a lot more expensive and time consuming than finding a solid logo design firm on Elance. Most of the reputable firms on elance will not charge for revisions and they'll work out cheaper and more adjustable than 99 designs.
2. A logo design firm that you partner with will mostly agree to white label their service all the way from design to support, you just have to be a little creative about how to execute it.
3. It's easier to make changes down the line through a white-label firm. Whereas with 99 designs it might be difficult to get a hold of the original designer in the future.
4. The 99 designs cycle of design and revisions may work out a lot slower and might not be the best for time intensive projects.
As you can tell, I think the 99designs idea kinda' sucks.

When outsourcing you always deal with a risk. To lower this one, you need to find a reputable company which is hardly achieve with your mentioned source
I get clients asking me all the time for logo and website design's. I always find very skilled and helpful people on dribbble.
Just shop around for a good rate as some people on there have crazy ideas of what they should charge.
Also on 99designs go through and look at designers portfolios as a lot of them have there contact details in there, so you can invite them to use your site.
