Hi i have a good logo / banner / designer, i did meet him here on BHW, he is from Philipins, a student, his English is great. He is not always online but he delivers top work. I payed him only $10,= to make my business facbook page, i payed him $ 5,= for my logo and $ 5,- for my header. Oh and lets not forget, he made my business card for only $5,-
(sometimes i send him a $50,= extra, just for fun and to make him happy, but that is a free gift, you do not have to do that)

Depends on the designer, $100 roughly
Find someone on Fiverr with not too much feedback and not too little feedback. Thats what I did.
There are people who need money with good skills who design a decent logo for $5. You just have to hunt.
Or just pay $20-30 for a good one somewhere else. I'd only spend $100 if a lot of people are going to see it

I got a BRILLIANT logo from Fiverr. PM me and I'll send you their link if you like.
But I do agree that 99% of the graphic folks on Fiverr are crap. If I was adding my time and effort it really costs more than freaking $5. But in hard cold cash it's worth it. I do love the logo I got, but I spent over 3 hours picking over gigs.

There are three categories of logo designers -
1> Cheap
2> Reasonable
3> Expensive
If you work with cheap (i.e. $30 per logo), you'll take a risk. You can't be sure whether you'll get the quality you are actually looking for or whether the work will be delivered in time. Reasonable logo designers are guys with a good knowledge. They will deliver good quality in time. Expensive ones are the best of the lot. They are industry experts. Now, it depends on your budget which category you would like to go with. But I would high recommend you leave 'cheap' ones out!
