Hey,

So here's our situation. My client is a locksmith who relies 100% of Adwords for business, however it seems Google now has a thing out against locksmiths and is suspending left and right. We got suspended recently for untrustworthy promotions, our ad copy was the same as every other locksmith out there but for some reason we were banned. Shitty but we need to move forward. Now we are almost finished creating the new website, with new domain, content, hosting, urls, cc info everything. Now when it comes to creating the adwords account what would be the best way to proceed? We just purchased HMA to change our IP, is HMA enough or should we go another route? Should we buy an aged adwords account? What other measures can we take to prevent us from being suspended again.

Thanks!

You really need to figure out why they banned you, its not because they have something against lock smiths man I hate to tell you that.

No they do have something against locksmiths just like they do tech support. Your client probably got suspended because either the person reviewing the account got suspicious, saw that one thing on the account was off, or had a bad day. Since there were a few fake or scammy locksmiths they've taken a hard line stance against locksmiths. Unfortunately this means banning real legitimate locksmiths. "Locksmith" keywords will get your account reviewed for sure. Good luck getting back on. I would suggest your client go to another industry. Also using HMA = BAN.

HMA = Ban good to know thanks. Guess it's off to starbucks.

HMA has been blacklisted by Google back in 2012. Why do you think it will still work for you ?

Because I never had to deal with an account suspension before and never needed to use one.

I run $5k a day locksmith adword accounts, no lie. It has nothing to do with the KW locksmith. You need to check the domain and make sure it's not blacklisted ith google. Maybe some old map spam or bad links. You can remove any poor links in webmaster tools. I would bet the domain is the issue.
