Are there any new methods to lock a user on a certain web page? For example I know you can use Javascript to do a looping popup however most browsers now allow you to bypass this by showing an option "Prevent this web page from showing additional popups". Wondering if there are any newer blackhat methods to accomplishing this for a novelty web page I'm tweaking. The goal is to prevent someone from leaving the web page, or if they are able to leave another duplicate web page pops under....etc

I am not sure of forcing them to stay on the page when they are not interested. You would better improve your page quality and put something that would appeal to them. There are some plugins such as those those can redirect visitors from a page to another after they click have pressed the back button.
