Long story short, lockdown is absolutely draining me of any motivation, productivity, and positivity.

I had a great summer, I went on holiday and rented a penthouse with some friends, I started doing a bit of CPA marketing and managed to make just under $7k in a couple of weeks but my method was really unsustainable/repeatable so that kind of died away. I also started a new business venture (Influencer marketing agency) towards the end of summer, the website is finished and I've registered it as a PLC so progress is good I suppose.

Recently I've had to come back home from my university due to another lockdown here in the UK. At first, it was okay because it meant I could focus on studying and working but the repetitive days are getting to me. Not going out with friends and not being able to go to the gym has ruined my motivation because every day is the same (wake up, sit at desk, go to sleep).

Has anyone else really been struggling with lockdown or productivity? How have you dealt with (if you've been able to)?

Today you are struggling,Tomorrow you will enjoy.

Trust me you are in the right path,Probably a lot of people have the same routine because Internet Marketing is like this and we cannot do anything about it:)

this words " started doing a bit of CPA marketing and managed to make just under $7k in a couple of weeks "

gee so u make 7k in weeks? or haven't is amazing

My gym has closed since march so i’ve really been missing the gains this year :(

Not a fan of working out at home. Lots of ppl come into my room all the time.

Yeah that’s an excuse but... I really hope gyms open again

Just hold few more months, I hope that everything will be fine very soon :-)

I hope so buddy, 2 weeks left of lockdown for the UK now.
im thriving in the lockdown :D

But i am an introvert so that's probably why. Only thing I'm missing is gym but its whatever.
I'm glad to hear that, I think if I had something working and producing results I would also be thriving but everything I was doing before, I cant seem to repeat.

I just used a bit of common sense and thought outside the box. I used viral marketing to my advantage and managed to get a few thousand conversions. Like I said though, it only lasted a couple of weeks so I haven't been able to re-produce those results.

Same here man :( I was making really good progress and getting strong but now gyms are closed my progress has gone to 0. Let's hope they re-open soon bro.

Fingers crossed!

i dont get uu people it been more than 5 years doing the same thing and i love it, i only go out when needed ( job or buying something for house that all ) and yet people find it hard, i think you just need to get used to it bro

Bro im at home for 10 days and cant go anywhere...

to be honest, since we do a lot work on computer, i don't feel bored at home
despite daily do the same things etc.

i feel lucky we have internet , thus can communicate everyone around the world like here , share our thoughts , chit chat etc
also got video game
radio
etc entertainent too

one thing , you surely see at least save some money unless u always buy stuffs online due to lock down

Best way to solve it is to imagine if you had a serious problem like the inability to walk or a terminal disease.. magically having to spend a month in your own company doesn't seem so bad at all any more. All it took was a little shift in perspective.

The truth about lockdown is:

1) Some people are using it to get healthier.
2) Other people are driving themselves straight into diabetes land. Like my brother is doing for the past few months & never shuts up
about how bad he feels.

I'm watching this happen every day by the foods people are eating & how often they complain about "fatigue" or "no motivation".

If you're constantly tired, no motivation, negative mood, AND you've over 25-30, you may want to start testing your blood glucose.
Or switch to a low carb diet. Not tracking / controlling blood sugar causes depression / fatigue faster than anything I know.

This shit is not a joke. I discovered during lockdown that 2 bananas drive my blood sugar close to 200! Then discovered potatoes do the same.
And apples & many fruits. So I switched to a super low carb diet & CAN NOT EXPLAIN how fucking good I feel.

Watch the food you're eating. Stay away from beans, peas, apples, bananas, potatoes, sweet potatoes, rice, grain...
Learn to eat meat, green beans, salads, cooked kale chips, get low carb recipes online. I've been eating the best food I've ever ate in my life
and FEEL AWESOME. My ADD also seems to have disappeared. I work out & run a ton but was still somehow driving myself into diabetes
by the carbs I was eating. And I thought my diet was "healthy" at the time. Who the fuck knew bananas/apples are as bad as candy?

Track your blood sugar. Nothing drains my energy or motivation more than a high carb diet.

This is very true, luckily I am fortunate enough to have a small gym at home. I am very careful about what I eat as I am training very hard to be able to enter powerlifting competitions sometime in the future. It is sad to see people put themselves in such bad conditions during lockdown.

I have always had a problem with motivation and distractions to be honest. I never used to study for exams (luckily I still got good grades and am now in university). But when it comes to the real world, no work = no money so it is a little more serious now!
