I have been seeing MANY people use the location to advertise their sites ever since the Sigs have been disabled.
For Eg:

There are many many more.
Could there be a way to add a validation rule to the location field to disable all TLDs such as .com,.org,info,ca,etc
Like seriously, you have to be really desperate to put your website as your location.
On a side note:
LOVE the direction BHW is heading. JR VIP getting more active.
Jr Exec revamped.
And best of ALL awesome Market Place. Now if all you SEO service providers would stop hogging the stickies LOL. Cant believe they are sold out for a FULL YEAR!

Some people are just desperate to get their sites seen lol :D
Maybe a rule in which only donors can put their links would do the trick?

i mentioned this a while back.
donor is the requirement to advert product links. we all no that.

posts from new members with work around links get deleted.

yet - some users join bhw as a bst work around making the
user name the name of there site, or the site in there location
surely thats the same as a member sneaking a link in there post
but i heard using your site name as your user name is allowed
which kinda doesnt make sense to the above rule new members
cant promote there product links in there posts....

surley having a site name as your user name or in your location
is no different than having it in your location or sneaking it in
your post as a new member, wrong is wrong.

mods need to kick members into touch who use that to
circumvent having a bst by using 1 of above 2 methods
to get there site link in

I've never really seen it as 'abuse'. IMO it's just for people to say, "This is my main site, this is where you'll find me".

disagrees , sees it as a way to make sure the link
they cant put in there post is still there as there location
circumvent . but we all have our opinions

I think the mods are already aware of this, they will be the judge.
