It seems to be a great debate. Should the address be hidden or not?

I've seen many in the same sector hidden, while others show it.

Does this have any affect on map rankings?

For a local service? I don't see why hiding it would be bad per se, yet have it listed on your site.

What I am not a fan of is automated directories that scrape that info i.e. Yelp.

I hate Yelp. My friend Chris (crescendo designs) was in that documentary.

Anyway, I guess I heard if you do hide it, you won't have perfect local citations.. because the address is hidden?

If it is listed on your site, it will get scraped by the lower directories eventually. I could only think of non-perfect citations if a business changes locations. That is a pain as you have to email support on a lot of directories to update your information.
