local seo without brand name?

hi!

i bought a website like PLACENAME.com for a moderately adventure tour area.
still don't understand why no one bought the exact name .com domain before me!

now my website name is just placeName dot com and Google business profile also with same name.

Please tell me how to optimise it without a brand name ?
or should I add a brand after the name of place ?
like "placeName tour - Brand name" ?

seems like this area people focus mainly on insta/tiktok reels for tours booking that's why top serps are dominated by them. could be the reason people didn't care about dot com

wanted to ask does it take time for getting the website added in Google business profile?
profile is verified but whenever I try to add website it says authentication failed after few mins.

for reference the website is 5 days old and GBP is 3 days old
