SO,
Im working on a guys website and he wants to appear at the top in
Local contractor related keywords
Im trying to figure out the best way to go about this
Blackhat and whitehat either way

Like should I flood it with backlinks
and whats the best way to do this?
any ideas would be helpful :)

also one other thing when i buy traffic does it actually buy real people or bots and what not?

What software should i get? SENuke, Scrapebox, or anything else?

If you're going for google maps ranking, "citations" are the same as backlinks for regular SEO. Basically submit the site to a whole lot of local business directories like truelocal or whitepages. Make sure the details are EXACTLY the same across all the directories.

For regular SEO, just make sure to add the location to whatever backlinking anchor text you do. It's usually very easy to rank for local searches, so there's no need to do anything too aggressive.

so going with a scrapebox blasting is a bit over the top?
just get it to a bunch of local directories
thanks man

do as much directory submission as you can in the begining
after that go for some article submission
web 2.0 properties

You won't need much. Most likely you can just post a few articles with your backlinks in them and then spam those articles with scrapebox.

As for buying traffic, don't do it. 99% of the places you can buy traffic are not necessarily scams but they don't convert at all.
