Local SEO website URL

I have a potential client that needs local SEO for the insurance industry. They have their standard website example.com and also a landing page that will convert visitors to request a quote example.com/landing-page. My question is can we list example.com/landing-page as their website in all of the citations and on G+ so that this page gets the rankings from the local citations campaign? Or can we only use example.com for the website?

Use the main url, they link prominently link out to the quotations page from their homepage.

They could do a redirect server-side (probably even by .htaccess) if client comes from a specific referrer URL (like facebook, twitter etc) and redirect them according to the URL they came from to the according landing page.
