Local SEO tools

Hi fellows. I'm a noob starting in SEO now.
Searching for plugins and services that help me in Local SEO, I came across three options: 1 free (https://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/wp-seo-structured-data-schema?filter=5) and 2 paid (https://www.whitespark.ca/ and http://www.projectsupremacy.com/).

I would like the opinion of you. The free plugin is a good choice or is better to go on a paid service/plugin?

Before you get involved with tools, read and learn a bit more about local seo/seo in general. Like this you can take full advantage of the tools.

Appreciate the tip. I'm studying for almost a year, with books and articles in English, because in portuguese (my native language) there is little content black hat. It is only the basics. I have learned a lot with the articles here in BHW. Thanks man!

brightlocal.com is very good. But their citations are way overpriced.

projectsupremacy is a great plugin and comes with great training as well, I know the creators and they are solid guys and def know what they are doing.

You need to set a budget and make some decission from the start.
Its always good to do some research in advance and not spend any money yet.. there is great free info to be found.

However at some point you need to understand that free only gets you so far. Here it works to set goals first then give yourself a budget and make a list of all products you found in your initial research and order them of importance and short-term (possible) ROI.

Then buy your top 3 or so and get working with it. Don't buy to many because you will forget and waste money. I think 3 is absolute max.. maybe just start with 1 (depending on the soft of course) and get working with ... just starting is halve the battle.

The free plugin is good choice.
