First I want to say sorry for reposting I seen this room had a lot more viewers just didnt know where to post these questions or topics so you will only have to chew me out once, and is this a proper questions or topic for the BLACK HAT forum... Thank you for any help

So to get this party started I am only focusing on local SEO and just the local searches part. So there name appears first on the local search, maps etc... So I will submit there company to many directories and yahoo, bing, and of course google and google maps. So lets say they get the "A" position or the first position on yellow pages. How do I keep them on top or refresh content so they stay there. Do I need to log in to each directory and just re save it or do I need to change the desciption up, change the photo, add categories etc etc... And I am charging 200 dollars for this, is that to much or too little... I live in a town of around 60,000 with no big towns of that size for 45 miles and the closest city is about 66 miles... any feed back would be great and thank you guys.. I am trying to justify what I should offer to keep them on top 200 a month after the setup and yes I mention the exclusive to their niche if they stay as a client... And say they just want the initial setup and they end up at number one, how do I beat myself out of the top position if I get a new client in that niche??

    talent80,

A couple of things here. First, you don't necessarily maintain rankings for a client by refreshing things like external proterties unless those properties are blogs or other web 2.0s that you have set up for them. Really the external properties are set up and then you don't do much else with them. Maintaining rankings comes in the form of adding optimized content to a web site or a blog, developing their presence in social media, and continuing to build backlinks to their site.

Second, the part about another client ranking is a bit tricky. Lets say you stopped working for the first client before you found the next one in the same niche. Ranking higher may just be a matter of doing more work than you did for the first client however if you did everything under the sun for the first client, this may be more challenging. Conversely, worrking with another client with the same goals creates a conflict of interest. If you are still working for your original client, you may want to think about not taking on new clients in the same niche. Thats like a lawyer representing two clients who have the same goals but by one winning, the other must lose.

maybe you can find some answers here to do more with local SEO,

    Hope that helps,

Thank you Shawn, I do each niche exclusive so should I be doing bare minimum to get them to the top in case they want to quit service so I don't have to fight myself as much?? And for this size of market is 200 fare, to much, or to cheap?? I have a 500 dollar package where I will create a website which consists of 3 or 4 pages?? I have not done research locally to compare prices to?? And I am a horrible content creator is there a good/cheap outsource to find niche bloggers??
