Local SEO Optimization without GMB

Hello Everybody,

I need to know if there's any way to optimize my Local SEO without having Google My Business Card.

In fact, Google disabled my GMB. The person we had from Google said that it's not possible for a call center to have my business card (there's millions of them enjoying GMB services but it has to be us)
and that it is possible to have Local SEO without GMB!

Ranking for local results is exactly the same as ranking for global results the only difference is the keywords...
Also, if you're trying to rank for "best plumber in miami" it will be smart to include other "local" keywords in the post, like "south beach" and "south florida" and so on..
 
Thanks for the reply. If I want to rank for "best plumber in Miami" but if it's search volume is 0. Then would it be good to target only "best plumber" which has good search volume or should I stick with "best plumber in Miami" having 0 search volume.
 
GMB is not only source which help you rank in local there other many local citation sites (Yelp, BBB etc) available which helps to rank in local so build your listing their

You never know the search volume. The data isn't public and so the checker tools are incorrect.
 
Array Experts is correct to advise about citations. Depending on what country, state you want your website ranked, there are targeted (local) citations you can access which makes your local SEO even more powerful. Go to fiverr or konker and have these targeted citations created for you or you can do it yourself using Whitespark as your guide. Equally as important: Use schema , using mainly the 'local business' category then create 5 posts about your location vs other locations where you want your website to appear. Example: if your business is in point A and you also want to appear in locations that are about X number of miles or KMs away from your point of business, make sure you create posts for these covering the KM radius - cover south , east, north and west. Embed the driving direction ( Google map) for each posts...and yes, you don't need GMB for this...

My website is well ranked for local keywords, but my willing is to be ranking on Google Places without using GMB!

If you do the things Ive mentioned as per my reply, the chances of your site appearing in Google 3-pack is likely to happen.

thank you for your awesome reply. Recently I've been working on it. Do you have any other suggestions for creating backlinks for small businesses.

I've ranked my clients' as well as my own website on just a few backlinks. I could rank in Google 3-pack with only a citation from Yelp, Yellow Pages and Bigfoot. The IMPORTANT thing you need to take into consideration as per Google's Rankbrain algo, is that most backlinks are deemed useless unless they're getting traffic as well. There are Fiverr services that offer such services. CrowdSearch does this job really well too....

You’re on the phone with an amazing prospect. Let’s say it’s a growing appliance sales and repair provider with 75 locations in the western US. Your agency would absolutely love to onboard this client, and the contact is telling you, with some pride, that they’re already ranking pretty well for about half of their locations.

I assume when you say 'amazing' you mean your prospect has already spent valuable time on the phone with you, long enough for you to gather relevant info and arrive at such a conclusion... right? If this is so, these 2 scenarios are posible : (1) He's just giving you B.S. ( 2) He wants something more regardless of the fact ( or myth) that they're are already ranking pretty well

Assume its (2)...so I tell him this :
"At this point, I’m not asking you to radically change anything. I’d just like the opportunity to show you how we’re different and how we’ve provided additional value to our customers that were already ranking ok. I can present some use cases of other companies like yours who were already doing pretty well prior to hiring our services, that's proven to be even more beneficial and profitable to them. Would tomorrow night or Wednesday night - same time- be good time to schedule a follow up call?"

Test the waters, at this point you can see if he's just plain B.S. or or looking for more avenues to scale up his/their business. If it's the latter then the ball is in your hands. You can now dictate the game. Your prospect is now playing in your court. Time for you to stop acting like a lamb and start selling like a lion!

I like this pack where you talked about ranking on Local Pack . I’ve been working for couple months but seem no luck .

Does this seen to be a success on different trials ? Thanks

You'll need to lay out some specifics if you prefer a clear cut answer. What niche , where/what city, your GMB?, details of the work you've done eg citations, local business schema, optimizing and geo tagging your images /videos, google post, etc, etc
