One of our clients kudzu listing disappeared. Ever happened to anybody else before?
NYC area, legit business. Have photos, images, lots of reviews. Don't break any rules, all our competition is still life.

What can be the reason.

p.s. not that kudzu brought us any traffic, but the play some role in google local rankings.

Could of been one of your competitors. I'm always trying to take my competitors citations.

Interesting, never heard of this happening before. The first thing that came to mind (of course...) is that someone is having them removed. A competitor. It isn't hard. I have done enough citation audits and repairs to know that you don't even need to mail from the native site domain - a Gmail will fetch a similar success rate. Sounds like a lot of work? Not really. A simple audit of your citations would take a couple mins using Whitespark local citation finder, and then a simple outreach template, and mail each site. One afternoon tops, with probably a 60% success rate.

More likely though, Kudzu may have found a duplicate listing of yours on their system? Maybe just a mistake? Maybe the subject matter of your business doesn't align with their TOCs?

Just re-submit. Dont' sweat it. Worth it as Kudzu is a good citation source.

If you need a whitespark local citation finder report but don't want to subscribe, I offer a Fiverr gig for reports. Just look up Whitespark on Fiverr.

What is your back link profile like? If you have links coming from different sources that are not related to the business or area then they can look spammy and affect rankings!

Or, have you noticed any new listings appearing from other businesses?
