Local Seo Help

Hi guys I have a local SEO client and I am trying to figure out which local keyword to target. If your a local SEO pro I could use your help.

The client sells gumball machines. So how should I go about finding keywords that will not ONLY rank (that's easy) but also help the client =)

thank laptopsmasher I already did that. Just trying to figure out which ones are best to target. I fear I might need to run adwords on it for a while to try to figure it out.

might be worth checking out some of the vending trade magazines too, vending times is excellent for that sort of thing, see what people are advertizing for, and you'll know where the competition is. From there use that with google keyword research tool, I also use traffic travis(available on BHW) and scrapebox, they are all useful tools, but the more you can learn about the industry the better, you might pick up on things that google hasn't yet.
