You need a clear URL structure for your website. Try looking for ideas from your competitors.

Then put good quality content there, do internal linking, and make backlinks.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. You will need more than that.

You're on the right track! For your website and GBP setup, focus on local SEO by using location-based keywords, adding customer reviews, and posting regularly on your Google Business Profile. Make sure your website is mobile-friendly and includes all relevant information about your services. Consider getting listed on local directories for better visibility!

Here's my strategy for Local SEO

Website Optimization:

Keyword Research: Use tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrush to find relevant keywords for your business, such as "end of lease cleaning [your city]" or "bond cleaning [your state]".
On-Page SEO: Ensure your website has a clear structure, meta tags, titles, descriptions, and header tags (H1, H2, H3) that include your target keywords.
Content Creation: Develop high-quality, informative, and engaging content (e.g., blog posts, FAQs, services pages) that showcases your expertise and services.
Mobile-Friendliness: Ensure your website is responsive and provides a good user experience on mobile devices, as this is now a key ranking factor.
Page Speed: Optimize your website's loading speed, as slow websites can negatively impact user experience and search engine rankings.

Google Business Profile (GBP) Setup and Optimization:

Verify Your GBP Listing: Complete the verification process to ensure your business appears on Google Maps and search results.
Accurate and Consistent NAP: Ensure your business's Name, Address, and Phone Number (NAP) are consistent across the web, including your website and GBP listing.
High-Quality Photos: Add high-quality photos of your work, team, and equipment to your GBP listing to showcase your services.
Reviews and Ratings: Encourage satisfied customers to leave reviews and ratings on your GBP listing, as this can improve your visibility and credibility.
GBP Posts: Use GBP posts to share updates, promotions, or helpful tips related to your business, which can also improve engagement and visibility.

Local SEO and Citation Building:

Australian Business Directories: List your business in reputable Australian directories, such as True Local, AussieWeb, or Australian Local Directory.
Local Citations: Get listed in local citations, such as local newspapers, community websites, or industry-specific directories.
Google My Business Categories: Ensure your GBP listing is categorized correctly, using relevant categories like "End of Lease Cleaning" or "Bond Cleaning".
Local SEO Tools: Utilize tools like Moz Local, Ahrefs, or SEMrush to help with local SEO audits, citation building, and tracking.

Job Acquisition and Marketing Strategies:

Referral Program: Implement a referral program to incentivize happy customers to refer friends and family.
Social Media: Leverage social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) to promote your services, share updates, and engage with potential customers.
Email Marketing: Build an email list and send regular newsletters to subscribers, showcasing your services, promotions, or helpful tips.
Partner with Local Real Estate Agents: Develop relationships with local real estate agents, property managers, or landlords to offer your services to their clients.
Online Advertising: Consider running targeted online ads (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) to reach potential customers actively searching for end of lease cleaning services.

Extra steps:

Monitor and Respond to Reviews: Regularly check and respond to online reviews, both positive and negative, to showcase your commitment to customer satisfaction.
Keep Your Website and GBP Up-to-Date: Regularly update your website and GBP listing with fresh content, new services, or changes to your business.
Offer Competitive Pricing and Services: Research your competitors and ensure your pricing and services are competitive and appealing to potential customers.
Develop a Unique Selling Proposition (USP): Identify what sets your business apart from competitors and highlight this in your marketing efforts.

First of all, I want to congratulate you on your new endeavor. Best of luck with your journey!

The next big thing I would suggest is proper keyword research and avoiding keyword cannibalization. I’m astonished by how many clients have multiple pages trying to rank for the same keywords in the local SEO industry. So, right from the beginning, make a solid structure for your business and ensure you know exactly how many and what services you want to focus on.

Another important point: don’t always target your homepage for specific keywords, as this might limit your opportunities for expansion in the future. I’ve seen many clients regret focusing solely on a single service on their homepage in the long run.

Lastly, in your GBP (Google Business Profile), maintain a consistent NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) across all platforms.

Remember reviews play a vital role in ranking 3 packs.

Thanks!
