Local SEO guide needed or any vendor

Hi Guys,

My client gave me his site & he told me he wants top in local results. I don't know anything about local seo. I just know citation building people do in local seo.

Do people do keyword research in local seo too or just do citation building,like NAP submission?

Can anyone recommned me a good local SEO guide or recommend me someone who provide local seo serivce here.

Sorry for a lot of questions,I'm noob in local seo.

I've not taken that job yet, I told him I will look for someone if I'm unable to do so. I won't do.

That's why I asked here.
