Hi All, we are launching a business that targets title companies and paralegals in those companies to help with their docu prep by cutting the time. I already know the value proposition, we have a great product that is being field tested with fantastic reviews. I want to utilize local SEO to the max when I am setting up the website here shortly. We will be targeting Houston and Dallas areas, so I am looking for any kinds of tips and pointers for local SEO as well as tracking.

If your service isn’t overly competitive, focus on building and optimizing high-quality content. Hire additional quality backlink services, and don’t forget to use Google Maps for your business.
 
Interesting project.
Separate city pages, optimized Google Business Profiles, and consistent local citations should help a lot for Houston and Dallas.
For tracking, GBP insights and GSC location data are quite useful.

Write blogs smartly - High Quality content - write all natural language - focus on your customer's requirements.
 
Just know your niche and do the competitor analysis, you will get the best idea from them on how you should set up your website properly, and what things you should do to rank in local search.

Also, if you can, create a GMB too. Because most of your local traffic will come from your GMB profile.
 
Houston and Dallas are good targets, but tough markets for a new domain. Tbh since its B2B, i’d focus on building out distinct location pages for each city rather than just relying on the map pack to do the heavy lifting. I handled a legal courier site recently and we saw way better traction with organic city pages than the GMB alone. Just watch out for verification loops, Google is hammering service area businesses lately so have your paperwork ready.
 
You should separate city pages. both pages should explain the step by step of what you do. Who you are serving locally and problems you are solving.
Include some content that is local specific, any case or any news. Schema is important. and if possible different GMB. and embed them both.
 
Create location-specific service pages (e.g., "Document Preparation for Houston Title Companies") with embedded Google Maps and client testimonials, and aggressively pursue backlinks from local .edu and .gov legal resource pages to dominate geo-specific searches.
 
Create city-specific pages for Houston and Dallas, optimize Google Business Profiles, use local keywords + schema, collect reviews, build local citations, and track everything with GSC, GA4, and GBP Insights.
 
For local SEO, I would start with a solid GBP setup and very clear service/location pages for Houston and Dallas. Consistent NAP and a few relevant local citations can go a long way early on. Also, tracking calls and form leads separately helps understand what’s actually working.

Claim/optimize GBP for Houston/Dallas with exact categories ("Title Company"), build NAP citations, create location pages with schema. Track the ranking.
 
For a title/document prep business targeting Houston and Dallas, focus on Google Business Profile optimization, local keywords, and citations. Include city specific pages, get reviews from early clients, use structured data (NAP, services), and track via Google Analytics plus GSC for impressions, clicks, and local queries.

to consider promoting your service on the forum .
 
Focus on content that answers questions title companies and paralegals actually ask.
 
The best part is most of the low hanging fruit are free - owning your GBP, managing your on-page content (especially with a bit of keyword research through the free Google Search Console),
