Hi, I run a furniture store, doing repairs, bespoke furniture etc. How do I bring in local traffic? At the minute my site is getting about 10 hits a day, but nothing from it. 10 hits a day for me would be great if they all picked up the phone. So whats methods do I use to increase local traffic, and increase conversion?

You would want to focus on "Google my business" If done correctly you can be listing in the local 7 pack (List A - G) With recent updates, depending on where you are located and what your competition looks like will give you an idea of what you have to do.

Local directories, local citations, few good articles, and yelp, google plus and other review sites gives you really good boost in ranking and leads SkylerJarman is correct. You have to know what you competitors are doing. That is the way to beat them and rank in front of them.

Businesses are opting for seo companies to help generate traffic on their websites. Why don't you hire some professional company and see the results for yourself. I have heard of Centex Technologies that provides local seo services. You can consider them if you want.
