Local SEO Citation Question

Say my local client has several locations.

The home page targets the main location, and I built 50 citations to that page (and it also has a verified Google+ listing)

The other location pages (different cities) are inner pages. Do I also need to build 50 citations (on all the same sites) that point to each individual location page (keep in mind each location has their own addresses, phone, and google verified page)?

For example, on yelp, I would have a listing for each google verified location, with a link going to its respective page on the website.

Is this necessary/helpful? It seems like it would make the local citation sites messy by having multiple listings for any business that has more than one location.

How do multiple office businesses do it? Just copy how they do it.

Yes. Your citations should point to the page with the corresponding NAP (Name, Address, Phone number). This assures Googles crawler that the location is relevant to the citation.

Yes you will have to do this. It is needed so Google will realize the different locations.
