1. SEO
If a business has multiple locations with multiple phone numbers, what is best SEO practice for displaying the numbers on site?
Each location has different services so there are multiple services pages per location. Would it be best practice to show a local number? Or would it be more authoritative to have a single number for pages, all services, and all locations? The people calling do not need to speak to someone at location.
Each GMB has a unique number. But it must also confuse Google to have so many different numbers.
Honestly having a single number would be a lot easier to manage, and from call rail side, a lot more cost-effective.
2. Google Ads
Same question as for SEO but for PPC. The landers for the paid traffic, would it make more sense to have local numbers for each lander or could we get away with a single number on all pages?
While I would prefer a single number I am not looking for easy, I am looking for best practice. What is ideal?
