Local news

I've checked all my local news for guest posts none openly advertise it. I've sent a few emails asking to feature my businesses in an article with a link back to my site for money of course.

Has anyone had much luck with this and notable results?

Out of the 2 small local news companies I contacted. Zero replied.. Everything else is national brands at a local level. I haven't attempted any of them.

That is a tiny sample size. Please don't give up; keep emailing them and use different email subjects to garnish their attention.

Maybe different email usernames too. I'll give it a shot. Unfortunately, local news tends to be limited GEO area. National brands also tend to be very strict. So have been focus only on the state level brands.

Journalists that work for these publications are generally even moronic than regular journalists.

Stop offering them money and instead pitch them a "story". This should basically be you doing their work for them and making life very easy for them. When they realise they don't have to do much work and can put a story about your business in their local newspaper/website they will probably bite.
