local domain with .com backlinks

Hello,

I wanna know guys how it is with local let's say .de :kev: domain with .com backlinks. Have you guys ever done it ?

I wanna hit the local google not global one.

Please post here your suggestions or meaby someone done that.

Not quite sure what you mean.

If you add the site into Google Webmaster Tools you have the option to set which country it is. So regardless of the domain name you can set which country it is targeted to (and show up in that countrys listings)

Ok I can do that but what if I wanna add 100 .com/.org/.net backlinks to domain which is targeted in local german google.de.

Domain is something_in_german.de

I wanna rank for german_keyword in google.de - can I do it with .com/.org/.net - but not many .de BLs? Do you guys know what I'm talking about ?

.com links will help, but you will need at least some .de, the more the better.

I hope .com will do the magic with every country, Even you are targeting local market, .com is fine IMO. . Thanks
