Local Club/Bar Directory Opportunity, HELP!

I have the opportunity to purchase a local club domain [city]clubs.com

It's on the first page of Google, and getting between 200-250 page views a day. The owner is currently looking to get between $400-500 for it, do you think it's worth it? The SEO has been done, and it's already getting a substantial amount of traffic. All I have to do is contact the local clubs/bars and see if they'd be interested in purchasing ad space or being featured directory placement.

I'm not too worried about the traffic as it is going to be used a local directory. With good placement on a keyword such as that many clubs/bars should be interested. I will be purchasing the domain in person, so no worry on any scams. I'm glad to hear that everyone thinks it's a good deal, I will pursue it.

How much should I charge for the directory placement?

Dude that is really cheap compared to what you could make monthly especially if you are Upstaten NY near a college.

Exactly, the price you can charge depends a lot on where you are and how the ad is going to show up on the site.
