Local business expanding - Need SEO advice!

Hey guys, Long time lurker, couldn't remember my password lol.

I am seeking the all knowing wisdom once again to guide me in this mortal realm. This community has changed my life for the better and taught me so much.

The knowledge I seek:

I'm looking to expand my local business to a country wide level. This includes franchises and increasing online sales. I already offer online sales but don't market outside my province. I used Local seo and GMB techniques to rank well in my area. Now that I want to expand, how should I go about it?

- Do I create a new brand and website and start fresh marketing to a broader audience?
- Do I create more GMB's in other areas under the same name? trying to piggyback on my current local serp/seo Brand and keyword(s)
- Do I create new pages on my existing local business website optimized for outside markets and then advertise?


In short, How do you guys go about expanding a local SEO brand/market to a national or global level.


Not sure how many people have done this but any input is appreciated!

Focus first on the specific city in your country, then do keywords with it.

After u can create a landing page for other cities or place.
