Local Business Directory Submission Software

Hi Jsherloc,

I totally disagree with you, you didn't see my tool so how can you say that automation not a good idea for local listng?

If you know something about local listing I'm sure that you know that if one citation will be a bit different from the other it won't be count as citation, doing it Manually is ok, but how much time it will take you to list me in 200 citation websites? and write about 2-3 unique reviews on each of the listing profiles?

with my tool you write the business and profile details only once and it will use the same details in all of the citation website that you would like to submit your business to, if you know match it is more comment to make a mistake when you have to write it again in each website manually instead of writing it once and posting the same details to all of the citations,my tool will also check if the business exist already before adding new listing and many other things.

I'm sure that you are also very interested in automating your manually process, instead of saying bullshit about automation because you are afraid that my tool will kill your business you can try to use it in order to make your service better, I also suggest you to open a BST here and not to advertise your services out side of it, it can get you banned.

Cheers,
Johnnie

Hi guys. I've been involved in offline marketing for a few years now, and I've recently pre-launched a MANUAL submission service that will provide you with visible, verifiable proof of work completed for your clients in the form of a detailed spreadsheet report and access to the e-mail account where all of the account registration/confirmation/account info details are.

Shoot me a PM if you want to know more and read some of the current feedback regarding the service. It is not an automated solution, but for this specific type of work I personally wouldn't want to rely on automated software when inputting important details for my offline clients (you are free to believe and act differently of course, afterall this is BHW).

Now, If we were just talking about posting simple URLs and anchor text...now that would be a different story as far automation goes. I am discovering a LOT of these sites require multiple confirmation/verification steps in order to fully "complete" or "claim" a business listing as well. And they change their submission guidelines, policies, and forms A LOT. Many don't go officially live until moderated after a few days to a few weeks.

When you deal with enough clients, you realize that the administrative side of things can become overwhelming. I'd rather not take the chance of automated programs screwing up a businesses's (name address phone number coordinates etc) by incorrectly filling out the forms, getting a client banned from a certain cite, etc.

If that type of stuff happens when doing normal link building with automated software, we can usually brush it off and just not use that particular website...but what about when a business owner sees that they've been banned or their information is completely incorrect and they can't access the directory account for two months to change the info? Will you tell them that the automated software you used was at fault?

Don't get me wrong, I'd be the first one to use software to help with the research, organization of the offline stuff, but as far as submitting brick and mortar business information to websites that are as FICKLE as these ones, I'm just not sure it is really worth possibly saving a bit of money and time upfront versus potentially screwing your clients out of utilizing certain authority directory websites and what not over the longrun. To each his own though like I said, I welcome all USEFUL tools to help us out in this industry! Not to mention, You can use popular automated stuff like Scrapebox and get additional citations outside of the "normal" directory websites still, though I've noticed Google Places won't show as many WITHIN their platform as they used to, at least in my recent expereinces. Google Places is crazy...I've had facebook, article directories, blog comments, etc all show up as citations.

My new motto for local search is: "If you can get a link on it, NAP it!" nap = Name Address Phone number

My thoughts are, bare minimum people are probably getting around $500 to work on projects for their offline clients (without even mentioning that MOST here I'd assume have their clients on monthly payments). So You could use automated software you already bought and fully rely on it to do these citations, or you could spend around $100 out of that $500 payment and ensure it is done correctly every single time. That money (you pay for manual submissions) adds up when you have multiple clients, and that is where I see the benefit in using software, but once again....at least in my own experiences...I am getting paid monthly by almost all of my offline projects and therefore to me, I'd rather just go manual than attempt to save around $100 per client upfront, as I am getting multiple times that amount paid monthly to me by them anyways. I guess I'm of the attitude at this point, "why risk it?"

This tool is nice for building backlinks but it is unrelated and offtopic.

Magic Submitter by Alex Krulik is a nice software for submitting nearly everything (K google places is a bit complicated though).
You can design your own templates with it.

Great tool. I use also to set up small ads. Next to lots of link building.

BTW: Is it a allowed to post a link with afiliate code in here?

Wow, johniew sorry if I hit a "hot button" or something, I am just expressing my opinion after having worked with brick and mortar businesses the last three years. As I mentioned, I look forward to seeing how your software fares in the offline market. I just know that all of the software that has come out recently in the offline market that actually POSTS reviews, etc has come under a lot of heat and most of the software no longer works appropriately as Google is constantly changing things.

Go check out how Local Business Listing Robot is doing, etc. Bunch of complaints posted even as recent as today over on the Warrior Forum. The successful offline software out currently works much like a typical scraper and info organizer, very useful stuff. But anytime they've added "submission" modules and what not, they become extremely buggy and error prone. I am no making this up, go read up on WarriorForum regarding the current offline "submission" software out there. Is your software different? I am sure it is, but considering some of these guys with offline software invested a TON into these programs and have the backing of some major players in the market, well EVEN THEY are having software issues now. That was my point.

Automation is certainly not a bad thing, we are on BHW for cryin out loud. As I mentioned, I personally don't like relying on automation for THIS SPECIFIC TASK. I am so sorry if that goes against how safe or powerful you believe your new software is. Time will certainly tell, as will the feedback from those with top tier clients in extremely "finicky" and "competitive" industries. I'd be interested to see how they get along with using automation for this specific task, and really whether or not THEY feel safe using an automated "xrumer" (in your words) style application to get their clients brick and mortar businesses out there...

I wouldn't use your software to "improve" the service I have offered to fellow offline marketers needing a solution (after experiencing issues with UBL and Localeze etc), as the people I have connected with all desire MANUAL work regardless. So you can relax....:D

This is a reality of the market right now, not me arguing on BHW because I am scared of some bot software "killing" my business. That is just REALLY not a professional way to conduct yourself in the response above FYI. Not sure how many offline marketers are eager to do business with someone that hurls PERSONAL insults at a fellow offline marketer simply because he expressed his experiences, concerns, and opinions. Might want to backtrack a bit....

I'm not quite sure how what you are posting in any BHW thread related to citations is NOT considered advertising your product by the way? Let me know. Am I doing something dramatically different than you are by explaining my experiences AND my opinion and RELEVANT concerns that are based on years of experience? Should I just tell everyone out there that is involved in "offline marketing" that they should simply wait for the release of your software and NOT worry at all about ANY negative consequences? "Why have any concerns guys, it is JUST PERFECT FORT YOUR CLIENTS" Should I just say something along the lines of that, would that be better?

If so, that seems a bit of a stretch considering what the other offline software software out there has experienced even with TEAMS of developers behind them and SOLID FUNDING.

Manual Business Submissions on citation websites are not my "primary" business....I am not worried about this and if your software becomes THE goto resource for ALL offliners, I'd be the first one on here to congratulate you. Anything to make our lives easier (without risking administrative flare ups) that I now avoid like the plague. For now, I prefer doing manual citation submissions/reviews based on my own experiences the last few years. Perhaps thousands of offline marketers feel VERY differently than I do.

As far as your comment regarding having to "retype business listing info leading to more errors versus just using an automated solution that pulls the exact same info", well we just copy and paste the information appropriately...problem solved. For example, many of these websites have a full form for the address field: "123 conseco run suite #33 smithville pa" etc...BUT...A LOT of these directory websites will also have a separate FORM FIELD for the "suite/apt number". These form fields change constantly on a few of these authority sites, and it is VERY easy to mess up.

Using even roboform, you would have screwed many of these listings up and not caught the directory sites that have a dedicated suite # form versus just putting into into the "address field". Just one example why I prefer manual for this specific task. Not to mention now, many business directory websites I'm noticing are requiring 3-4 step verification/claim process. Some are going to phone verify now too, etc. Just be interested to see how an "xrumer" style software handles the intricacies of these business listing websites, as I'm sure many other offliners are as well.

I would also extend the same kindness to you that you gave me, in asking that you might want to list your software in the BST section, as advertising outside f it can get you banned. :D

i tried to use magic submitter for this purpose but i could not get the c# to jive with the top citations sites. it would have been great had it been able to work though.

Personally I have some one do it by hand. They can knock about about 30 citations in only a few hours.

I have employees do everything manually right now.

PM me your details and we will see if you fit.

Hi Johnniew,

If you are looking for a beta tester for offline directory posting, I have a couple of projects that need that right now.

I would be glad to give you an honest written or video review/testimonial.

Let me know.

Thanks,
DW

I might be wrong, but isn't GPScraper a tool that can do that?

No, GPScraper does not automate the process of Local Business Directory Submissions. It helps acquire information about potential offline clients.

Does anyone know if Johnniew is reliable or not. This tool seems to good to be true plus he is not getting back to anyone on this thread. Any opinions?

Hi, I'm very busy these days so I'm very sorry if I didn't answer all of you yet.
We just finished the first beta testing stage and we are working on adding some new features and fixing some bugs. I will update you all once we will start the second beta testing stage or release it for the public, it should be in the new few weeks.

stay tuned.

Thanks,
Johnnie

I saw screenshots of the tool, we talked on skype. So I can attest to the fact that this does indeed exist.
