Hi

I was wondering, if I search for terms locally to create a local blog, will Google show up my site?

Example, lets say the phrase "best cake flavor" is getting 10K local search volume so I target it in my blog.. Will google show my site up first compared to other countries like US etc especially if I have my country TLD extension OR will Google still show up other countries websites etc.

Are you asking if people in your local area search Google for "best cake flavors" if they will find your local website? The answer is no. But if you do something like "best cakes in los angeles" and someone searches something like "best cakes near me" or "best cakes in los angeles" then yes. Hope that clears things up!

It changes yes, I know that if you search from a country you have more chance to have results from this country with TLD of the country where you search. If I am in the US I will have more .com website, if I am in Germany, I will have more .de results, even if I type the same thing :)

No the thing is, I'm not selling anything. I want to create a blog but that ends with a local tld domain

So say i see the phrase "best cake flavor" and it's high volume in my country and competition is low... But in the US it's high competition.. So if I target that keyword will my site show up for those searching in my country considering its low competition and a local tld domain
