Hey guys,

This question is regarding JackSparrow's Instagram iMacro script.

I asked this question in his thread yesterday, but as no one seems to be posting in it anymore I thought I may be more likely to get an answer by posting a new thread. So here goes..

How do I load an iMacro script into the iMacros firefox plugin?

Excuse my ignorance, I'm not familiar with these scripts & have trawled Google & these forums for a few hours trying to find the solution but had no luck. I've tried saving the script in various formats with various programmes/apps & loading them with the plugin but nothing's worked.

If anyone could help me out I'd really really appreciate it. Thanks! :D

Not a clue about the firefox plugin, but in regular iMacros you put the macro in the folder defined as the macro folder in options. Then remember to click "refresh list", and it will appear among the other macros. Don't know if this helps you.

If it was an .iim file copy it here : C:\Users\*YOUR PC NAME*\Documents\iMacros\Macros

if it was a script, then open the firefox imacros addon,go to record tab and click record. Then stop the record.

right click and select Edit and copy the imacros script into it and save the file.

go to here
download and install the firefox plugin.
Read help on the page. :)

Hope that helps

This is exactly what I needed! Thank you so much jairathnem, you're an absolute star!

Thank you very much to ThreadKiller & r4ys-- for taking the time to reply as well.

You need to go through your code again. That error means that the Button you want the script to press cannot be found. :)

Paste the script in you iMacros folder located in your "My documents" folder. Enjoy!
