Right I'll try and explain this clearly.

I have a set of affiliate links, on clicking these links the affiliate page loads and says "please wait whilst we connect you to your outlet" etc

This page then redirects to the provider.

Now, I need to load this page, and hide the redirect page, then once it's redirected display the final page....

Is this possible? Perhaps with iframes and javascript? Also want to fake the refer so it looks like it's coming from the affiliate .com too

It's basically hotlinking, direct linking so I can get people signing up through my account (I've sorted that bit with my affiliate id)

You have stumbled onto a GREAT concept that hardly any affiliates take advantage of.

I had to have my built out. Well worth it. My conversion rates got a nice bump too.

When running on search, doing this helps a lot to keep your quality score high as the bounce rates do not seem to go down as much on exit.

Another benefit is you can hide your traffic via a 2 second refresh (javascript) to wipe your referrer. I prefer to hide my traffic from the network so they don't jack it from me.

Anyway, I used elance. Tell them you are looking for a splash page w/ a javascript/ajax type loader (you pick which style). If you are using wordpress, ask for a plug in to be build out. May cost more.

HTH!
