1. don't take cheap webhosting, the load speed won't be good. Use a VPS like vultr or digitalOcean. You can even start with a free AWS
2. use a wordpress plugin (if you use wordpress). WP Spuer Cache or WP-rocket (for me, it's the best one)
3. focus also on the backlinking (internal/external)

I've never used a VPS for hosting but im thinking about getting one.
One of my sites is getting about 450-500 UV/day and growing. Google analytics is telling me the average load time is 12+ seconds but when I test it on websites like pingdom its about 3-6 seconds, either way its not good lol
