I was looking into ways to livestream from a pc/mac or a server to TikTok but I couldn't find a stable solution. The idea is to stream pre-recorded videos, perhaps many hours per day. I've seen this on some accounts but couldn't figure out how to do it.
TikToks own desktop streaming option is not availanble to everyone (as suggested here: https://howtosguru.com/can-i-go-live-on-tiktok-on-my-laptop/). It seems like TikToks own "stream live" option if you are logged in from a desktop browser in your account is only shown to 0,1% of all users. The option doesn't seem to be linked to more than 1000 followers as some suggested. I know accounts with 60.000+ followers who don't see the option. Also going live regularly changed nothing and TikTok doesn't answer requests regarding this topic.
You would need this option enabled to get your hands on their RMTP stream key to connect.
The only working solution I found was loola.tv. I was able to stream from pc/mac using OBS to Loola and from there to a TikTok account, but the connection is too unstable. There are so many factors like your PC speed, your internet connection and loolas server to get this to work.. there needs to be a smoother way to get this running.
Best case would be an online service where you could upload your pre-recorded videos and they stream it into your account (but without the need of the RTMP key which you won't get from TikTok).
