Live views - Why so expensive

I can't find much info on social live streaming services for youtube, insta, fb and twitter.

I would like to know why they're so expensive
Are these usually real views or botted (if botted than why so expensive)
Are these services geo based
Do these usually get sold for the entire streaming or just an x amount of seconds
How do these affect stats - ie do we see these views live on stats
How do these affect overall social account (ie more reach?)

X amount of seconds
WHY they are expensive? Instead of staying for one sec in the video and give it a view!! They will stay couple of minutes to watch a live video!
Loading live videos take from (CPU) more than watching normal videos which it cost them more!
