Say I am trying to live stream a sport event, but don't want to use any other host ustream, twitch, youtube etc because they get taken down.

How can I stream directly on my site?

You could use facebook live stream then just embed it on your site. Youtube also.
Would be a much faster way than going for your own hosting. It would cost your bandwidth a lot (depending on the number of viewers).

Thinking about it I always wanted to combine p2p with a website.
But technically I have no idea on this point and if it is actually feasible

Googling "live stream on website" return several results. Some should be worth a shot.

So you're going to film the event with your camera and stream it on your website? That's what I understand with directly. What I also know is that the Russians stream almost everything and don't take it down, so you might want to try that ;)

Been watching whole football matches on FB live stream lol, even Champions League. Just run the live stream on a small page maybe, and dont know if this is possible, but disable comments and shit.

If you are looking to live stream on your own site. You might want to check your hosting plan first and see what kind of bandwidth you are allowed. If other networks would take your stream down you might also want to check with your host first as they may do the same thing if it goes against TOS.
