Kicking off my new BHW account with a case study that will allow you guys to actively monitor my ability to rank a site within a very short amount of time for good keywords. A portion of my techniques are what some of you would call "traditional" though I will list my ranking methods below:

1. Extremely high quality content.
2. Niche related domain (Not exact match).
3. A diverse link building campaign.
4. SM shares/optimization.
5. And finally, a ranking technique that I keep to myself.

No, I am not going to be spamming anyone or trying to sell anything this is simply a project that I think some of you would enjoy following.

So, how will you if I'm able to rank the site?

Simple...

I'm going to register a brand new domain, build a site and add content and then share the URL with you guys so you can watch the ranking(s) as they happen. This essentially is going to be a throw away site "even when it's ranking" as I'll be sharing the URL publically and we all know what can happen when URL sharing takes place. I just want to show others that quick rankings can still be accomplished.

I guess some of you would call this a "Churn and Burn" method but I've had sites ranking on page 1 for the past 4-5 months with my method(s) so results "can be" sustainable.

I think you should share the URL after you ranked the site, otherwise you might get some neg seo that would ruin this case study.

Seems like a good journey but don't share the url, as somebody can try to tamper with the site..You can share your serpbook link that hides ur domain while giving update on ur rankings.

Well Dave, it doesn't actually look like you are sharing anything. Points 1-4 are pretty standard and point 5 is meaningless.
Looks like the whole purpose if to grow your epenis , but if you are sharing the URL(is this wise?) then I suppose we can wait and see.

Case study is you willing to share some gems with others, at least results.


So this is interesting and I'd suggest you share the URL 14 days after, why? Because like you said, you have many sites ranked, so this one is not your bread butter site, and if you share the URL, all noobs can learn actual gems things from this case study, or you don't share the URL and your 5th secret source, then what the hell of this case study point?
