Little trick for FB Ads - Avoid losing access to a Business Manager

I thought about this now, maybe this is obvious to some people, but I don't know, I had never read about this, so I decided to create this thread to give this idea to anyone who is interested. I can't even say it's a method, it's just a simple thing that helped me.

• An important point:

→ This is helpful in these situations:

you have a BM running normally, however your personal account has been suspended/limited
facebook is asking for documents or selfies to release your account and meanwhile you can't advertise
you sent your documents and facebook refused, so your personal account is banned even though the BM is active
if you are using a fake profile and have no way to send documents to facebook

→ This is not helpful:

when your account has already been suspended...it is too late, do it next time
when your BM has been deactivated
when your ad account has been deactivated

→ The trick: creating backup invitation links

• Add other people in your business manager. To do this, I suggest you just put an email that you have access to and leave it pending.



Make sure you give all possible permissions to your business (including pixels, ad accounts, etc)



After you send the invitation, this will be pending. Do not accept. This will only be useful if the worst happens, it will act as a backup for your business.



If your personal account is suspended/limited or banned, then you will lose access to your business manager.
You will not be able to change audiences, nor create new ads.
You will also not be able to add/remove people from the Business Manager, so the backup mentioned above is very important,

In that case, it is time to buy a warmed aged facebook account (there are services available for this in the forum marketplace).


Using your suspended account, go to "people" and you will see the still pending invitation we made earlier. Now click on "resend".



Using your warmed aged facebook account, paste the invitation link and accept the invitation. You now have access to your pixel/ad accounts again.



I suggest adding multiple emails and leaving them all pending so that you do not depend on just 1 fake account or just 1 invitation.

It may look like a no-brainer step for others, but hey, this is still a good advice.

I personally got an FB BM account but haven't added anyone as a backup. Though I'm not actively using it with shady campaigns, still, this is a good tip. Thanks.

wait won't facebook just keep disabling even if you add more accounts? (because any new account will be associated with the previously disabled one?)

Thats the thing we do for every BM, but you have to wait to do it. It can trigger AI, if you do on first day of ads
