I used to but not anymore. The recommendation is 250-500 per day but spread them out evenly.

None or very few since most people need to follow you and you must follow them in order to send them DMs...

Ok, so stick with 250 a day and remember to spread them out. How many followers you will get varies on how appealing your messages are...

Why not use both? Na you won't get many followers from DMs unless you make them not look like spam...yes sure we all know that

in my bot I can run only 2 tasks, so I'll follow and like I'll leave DMs
What would you guys think is a safe number to go with?

I've thought about sending DMs offering them shoutouts but I don't know what to say without sounding like I'm begging and without the recipient reporting me for spam. Do you (or anyone else) mind giving an example or two how you go about sending the DMs asking for shoutouts for $$$?
