Little cheat for hosting company

Hello there, as my hosting is going to expire soon I want to ask if my idea can work.
To update my hosting cost 200$ per year, usually i have 2 blogs doesnt make so much money. But I want to buy the hosting again(as new customer there is big discount) and move my websites to the new hosting before expire?
Is that possible?

Of course yes. You can switch your host in order to be a new customer and avail discount from them. Since your sites are not earning much I assume they are not that big sites. So switching hosting can be done here.

Usually I do not recommend switching host frequently for established website if things are going fine with the current host. But in your case it looks fine.
 
some providers are OK with it, others aren't, so you should contact them and ask if it's allowed... or do some research on google / reddit about this.

Personally, I'd not do it, because $200 is too much when you don't consume a lot of resources (which I assume that you don't since you seem a newbie, so you probably don't have lots of traffic.)

Just find a cheaper host, there are plenty of options under $100...
 
Actually your budget really seems high for a simple 2 websites shared hosting, you might wanna research and go for any good shared hosting, and even without any discounts you can get good shared hosting with ability to add two or more domains on it under $100 per year.

you can find better and cheaper option here at BHW,
I dont think you will be able to do so because when they process your order server will tell them that the domain already exists.
 
I recommend contactin the provider and asking for the discount. Most likely they will agree so you will not need to implement your sceme.
 
Which hosting you are using now?
Why can't you try another hosting like namecheap.com or hostaguar.com ?
 
Bruh. You will get a decent specd vps from namecheap for less than that. It costs $15/month for a 8gigs ram vps. Go for it. Don’t buy that crap which asks for $200 for renewal.
 
Be careful cause you can loose your money if they catch you.
 
They will know you are moving from inside their system to another account inside their system. Best to just ask them for a discount or get other hosting.
 
Find a 2 dollars VPS hosting, install a panel and host them. You can use hawkhost. Cost less than 3 dollars per month with unlimited add on domains.

$16/mo is definitely not cheap if you have low traffic. There are good ones for $3-5/mo
