With lightning network and lower BTC fees, LTC might lose a lot of value.

The purpose of LTC today is to be a lighter and cheaper Bitcoin. If bitcoin becomes fast and low fee, LTC won't have much of a purpose.

If you want an alternative to Litecoin, check out Vertcoin. Read their whitepaper and roadmap, they have been in the cryptospace for a long time and they have a legit team. Asic resistant, better and faster than Litecoin. You need patience with it though because they are going to get listed on more exchanges in the upcoming months. They now are only listed on Bittrex which wasnt accepting more newcomers, hence why the price has been stable/ down the last month(s).

If you are interested this is a longterm play.

I think there is a still so much space for Litecoin growth. When BTC and ETH increase in price, a new investors are always looking for cheaper coin which they can have a whole number. I guess Litecoin could be their main pick since is available on the most popular exchanges.

LTC is a "better" copy of BTC, in long-term only few crypto will survive, only these which are really valuable (useable so). In my opinion king will stay alive as long as crypto works.

Well the reason of LTC is fast tx , with Lightning Network on BTC anyone claiming fast tx will become obsolete, simple as ABC.
