listing downgraded on google on certain keyword

one of my keyword search result on google is no1 but from last 10 days it shifted to no. 3 on second page my whole website traffic is down now drastically from 8k per day to 2 k per day . please any body here tell me how to acheive the top postion for that keyword again on google.

Meanwhile, get some quality backlinks from unique TLD's which are hosted on different IP.

have a look at your backlink profile
maybe youve been losing them for a while
and google has just caught up with it

other than that diversify your profile and take a look at your onpage seo .

Unfortunately today is not only a venture getting the #1 position, but it is harder to maintain it.

I had 5-6 keywords of a client of mine in stable #1 for months, then last week suddendly dropped to #25-35 positions and I am still trying to understand why...

It looks like nothing changed over the "on-page" factors, so I can only suppose it is a backlinks matter... maybe SEs devaluated some link back.
P.S. I don't have any message in the WMT panel

Hi, just gothrough ahrefs and see whether any good amount of backlinks lost in few days? if yes, you need to create new backlinks. Also, your competitors might doing some strong seo, in that case, their website go up and your go down.
