I am new to flippa and want to sell my blog there! I have listed my blog 2 days back and only got 5 watchers and 0 bids. Below are the details of my listing

Niche - Blogging/SocialMedia/Technology
Site Age - 1 Year
Monthly Unique Page Views - 5K
Monthly Page Views - 10K
Revenue From - Paid Reviews And Freelance Jobs Through Blog
Monthly Revenue - $130+ (3 Months Average)
Adsense - Approved But Not Used
Page Rank - 0 (Dropped from 2 in Dec)
Alexa - 1,34,000
Majestic SEO Inbound Link - 1460
Listing Period - 15 Days!

Buy it now price - $3000
Minimum Bid - $100
Reserve Price - $2000

Is everything right with my listing? Should I increase or decrease anything, I have heard that bidding only takes place on last day! Does the first bid also takes place on the last day. As there are no bids, I am thinking to ask my friends to place fake bids, Will you recommend fake bids or should I wait?

Too many question right! Felling confused!

Why you asking $3,000 and $2,000 reserve?

What should it be! Flippa estimated the site reserve price as $1000. Some people told me to keep that price. Should I reduce it?

What is the duration of your auction? In my experience most of the bids and views tends to come in the last day of the auction.

Did you use a catchy title for your listing?

Your BIN and reserve price look way too high to me.

I am no flippa expert but I would be surprised if you reached $1000 and you should consider yourself lucky if it reaches $500.

Your revenue is from paid reviews and freelancer jobs. People can just set up a site and do that themselves.
If the revenue was from Adsense then it might attract more interest.
You should ask meathead12345 for an opinion.

Duration is 15 days and here is the title "Site with 5K uniques/mo making $150+/mo on average"

I have already replied to the sticky thread "what is your site value" and Iam waiting for the meathead12345 reply there. Based on the reply I will reduce the price. Thanks for the suggestion! I have noticed in flippa that even very dumb websites are sold more then $500. I didn't used AdSense because removing AdSense ads brought me direct offers. The AdSense was approved the account when the site was just 1.5 months old and only with 12 articles.

So... if I got your site right at the reserve price I would have to wait 15 months before I saw any profit. Your site really does not get many visitors and that site could get hit tomorrow. You are asking way too much money in my opinion.

I could take that 2k and turn it into 10k before I could even break even with buying your site.

Thank you so much for all the reviews, I have changed the listing prices.. Removed Buy It Now, Reduced Reserve Price to $700 and minimum bid $100.

1. What do you mean by paid reviews? Does someone pay you to write a review for their product or website?
2. his freelancing jobs? Does someone hire you do stuff through this site?

$1 and $100 is not much of a difference. You should have a minimum bid of $1 rather than 100. This way, if you got enough bids, you have a chance to be featured in most active listings. You will get a lot of views there.

I think your valuation is way too high.

1. Yes, My blog is getting offers for paid reviews - I will be paid to write articles about their product/website in my blog
2. Yes! As I have written articles related to transferring blog to wordpress and other articles, People want to hire me instead of risking with codes. You can check the services page in my blog.
3. To start the bid at $1. I am already late, if the site is not sold this time, I will start $1 as minimum bid next time

Here's my 3 suggestions:

1. Start auction at a price of $1.
2. Purchase the Home Page Upgrade
3. If you can take the chance, do a "now reserve" auction to entice bids.

1. I am already late, If the site is unsold this time, I will start with $1 next time in my relisting
2. I am planning to purchase the homepage upgrade before 3 days of the end date as my listing stays in homepage for 3 days. If I purchase the homepage upgrade now, my site may be pushed back when the auction end date is near. What do you say about this?
3. Sorry, I cant get you. What is meant by now reserve and how can I do that? Sorry to bother you? Hope you will clarify me

Just so you know, it's proven that the most effective time to purchase the Home Page upgrade is right at the start of an auction to gain traction and then near the end of the auction to get some more last minute bids in. So, if you have the budget, try to set a budget to the side to purchase the upgrade twice.

No budget and selling the site because of financial problems and for a future project! For this time I will go for upgrade at end. When should I purchase it before 1, 2 or 3 days before the end of listing..!

First, Your site is very easy to replicate. Someone can build a site for less than $50 can achieve what you are offering. You can't even say that "you will get a review from high PR site" since your site has no PR. Your site is not old enough too to have the authority.

Second, someone can easily get clients for the service you are offering through some freelancing site (e.g. fiverr). why would i spend a lot of money by buying your site if i can get the clients for free.

That being said, your reserve is still high. but flippa has a lot of noobs that want's to gt their feet wet, so you might hook up someone for that price.

My suggestion is if you want to buy the homepage feature, buy it 24 hours before the ending of your auction. The average time you will be featured in homepage is 24 hours and this will also compliment you being feature in the soon to end listing.
